Mimi

Lipgloss and Binky is a Mommy/Lifestyle blog devoted to subconsciously encouraging women to live their best lives. I am self professed fab Mom, Mimi. I am the “Rant and Rave” generator/content creator for this blog.

The moniker Lipgloss and Binky was derived when I was thinking of two things I should never leave home without. Four years after the inception of the blog thank goodness my daughter no longer needs her  binky but my lipgloss will forever be a staple. For brand purposes, the name sticks.

Years gone past I could care less about a Kitchen aid mixer, maintaining a tidy home, or keeping a warm homemade meal on the table.

Things change and priorities shift. I was once a fashion obsessed, career driven woman. At 35 I’m trying to spend copious amounts of time with my family while creating awesome memories, healthy meals, and fun crafts for my children.

I still love a good shoe and can rock a skinny jean, stiletto and smokey eye with the best of them. The difference  now is instead of just focusing on the superficial, I’m trying to balance all of me with all of them and it makes for a great story.

I bake. I cook. I craft. I take pictures. I tell a good joke even if I’m the only one laughing.

I own a few businesses. I drink martinis with the girls. I thrift. I Nordstrom. I’m all over the place.

One thing is for sure, when life shifts I move with it. I move and shake, I bob and weave. I live life to the fullest.

My blog is a testament to all things me.

Follow?

Take your pick….Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Email, RSS. I talk back…on all of them. I do.

My little corner of the internet, property managed by Go Daddy is PR friendly and has housed reviews, and host opportunities with known brands to include Disney, Sprint, Walmart, Revlon, Kohl’s, Samsung, P.S for Aéropostale and Macy’s. I enjoy working with brands that are children, family, beauty, fashion and home décor centric.

Let’s work together.  Your email is appreciated at Mimi {at} lipglossandbinky {dot} com.

Mimi… I love your blog!!!!! I have to admit, I only stop by most (1min tops) but I loved it here. Trust me, I wouldn’t be writing this long comment! LOL. And it’s great you’re in ATL too… I’m here, but I don’t like it… at all! Before I go, it would be nice to meet up for a blogging mommy lunch or something… just a thought.

Oh, I’m still waiting on the link. I love my blog but I know it’s not fancy. I was thinking it’s because it’s a wordpress.com blog and not the self-hosted wordpress. I have to switch over soon. Since I do work online, it would be nice to have some carefully selected ads on my site, but that’s a dream on wordpress.com. It keeps stripping all the code!

Anyway, great work. I must save you to my favorites. :)

Thank you!!! I’m not a hair junkie at all. It has been a long road of trial and error to find what works for my hair. I am fully natural and I use Shea Moisture products. I have tried Miss Jessie’s and they do okay but for the price I’m riding with Shea Moisture. I use a good flat iron that I found on sale at my local Marshalls. I’ll do a post next week on my technique and such. It won’t be indepth like a Youtube video but it will give you a better idea. Thank you so much for reading!

I was in college early in the morning. So you should
start seeing a little bit of a mystery car transport
device that magically improves audio quality for up to four hours.
Ben Cardin D-Md and car transport; Hwa,
Thad Cochran R-Miss. Normally the first step is that the price of
    oil will finally come down.
