I feel like I’ve been so disconnected from this space for the past two weeks. There isn’t a particularly exceptional reason for said disconnect, except for my gross inability to properly organize my life. My well intentions and what actually “had” happened left me floundering trying to get everything done these past few weeks. Everything that was pressing has been completed and now this week I can start with a fresh slate…and those same good intentions to live a well organized life!!
I did a little online shopping. Something y’all know I never do…..then again never say NEVER when it comes to a good sale!
Prior to school starting I took out the time to craft this amazing schedule detailing how I wanted everything to run for the new school year. Said schedule was worked down to minute details on what time dinner would be started, children bathed, a laundry schedule etc. The first week was a little iffy, bedtimes were on point but everything else was pretty much a nah.

Sadly this is my last post for the Kohl’s /Peter Som ambassador campaign. I hope you’ve enjoyed my outfit pictures and gotten a good idea of the amazing fashion at affordable pricing that Kohl’s has to offer.
This week I picked up two last items and while I could’ve gone crazy I stuck with the basics. Basics should never be underestimated, as they are the blank canvas that gives our accessories and statement pieces the arena to shine.
I couldn’t leave without picking up the white Moto jacket. It is everything on. I’ll admit on the hanger I wasn’t impressed but I’m sure glad I tried it on. The fabric is perfect to cover your arms at the movies or for a walk on the beach at night. I thought it had a lot of potential and I’ve dressed it three different ways.
With the whole talk that it is okay to wear white year round, while not totally on board with this new fashion rule in the event I feel the need to run full speed to catch that train this jacket is my ticket.
I think the gold accents on the jacket are just enough to subtlety add a little bling for people like me who like to keep it classic and simple.
Shop the entire collection online and if you didn’t have any luck winning the contest last week you’re in for a treat. I’m hosting another giveaway this week for another $100 Kohl’s Gift Card!!

A few weeks ago, I mentioned here that the baby and I took a trip down to the Tanger Outlet location in Locust Grove to do a little shopping. I actually frequent that location to do most of my clothes shopping because not only are the deals great but because it is closer to me than the nearest quality mall.
I used my gift card to pick up a few things for Addison to head back to school. Here’s a short video of all the goodies that I managed to squeeze in on $50!
As if I don’t have enough craziness going on in my life trying to pack and move I’ve decided to try my hand at Luvvie’s 31 day blogging challenge so you will be seeing a lot of me for the next few weeks. I’m sorry.
As we’re gearing up for the first day of school on Monday, I am taking you with me as I go school supply shopping and to my son’s Open House with a few pit stops along the way!
