I live in the South if you didn’t know. Tea sipping, is embedded in the southern culture and way of life. In the event you were wondering, both the literal and the Kermit variety are practiced here but today I am speaking in the literal sense #TrendTea hunty! Sweet tea is a summer staple around here and I keep a few boxes readily available at all times. In the mornings when school is in session I will sit down with a pretty mug of Bigelow green tea to get my thoughts and plan of action together for the day. In the summer I often opt for it being cold since the weather outside is sizzling.
Entertaining is made easy with tea during the summer. When I have friends over the first offering is tea, then water. I know. I told you it’s a way of life. One of the ways I make tea in the summer is by using the sun. Sun tea anyone?
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Sprint. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating
Yes, I took this picture in the pool with the Kyocera Hydro Vibe while Addison was kicking up a storm. Summer + a waterproof phone = Good times.
The new Kyocera Hydro Vibe is a heaven send for summer recreational activities. It is waterproof and can be submerged in up to one meter of water for about 30 minutes before you are likely to have any issues with it. I’ve never been one to drop my phone in water but remove the word water from the prior and you have me, ole butter fingers.
Thanks to Kozy Shack for sponsoring today’s discussion. My opinons are mine. You already know!
Now that I am on this fitness quest one of the suggestions that has been made is I need to eat….regularly.
I’ve been known to go about a day and a half without eating and not be bothered. Well those days are long gone, as I am now eating a few mini meals/snacks throughout the day. This new trend has helped me feel less sluggish, however the downside is around that 3rd hour I get violently hungry. Hungry like I’m pregnant, I get light headed and start looking for the nearest thing near me to eat, throwing caution to the wind on whether said item is good for me or not.
In an effort to make sure I’m not snacking on a bunch of junk I’ve been looking for snacks that I can throw in my bag and eat on the run.
I’ve recently been introduced to Kozy Shack pudding. The pudding comes in a tub as well as small cups. The small cups have been great for snacking on the move while the tub stays at home. I’ve always been a fan of pudding ever since I was a child. My children enjoy pudding as well and as a mother I’m happy to give them Kozy Shack because of the wholesome ingredients….especially seeing that I can pronounce all of them. Nothing says win like letting your children eat something that tastes good and is good for them. Kozy Shack puddings are high in calcium and are gluten free.
I am of the cloth that everything from ice cream to pudding tastes a little bit better with Oreo crumbs sprinkled on it. Mash them up real fine over some pudding and you have yourself something. I know the Oreos aren’t the best for me but after a long day there is nothing like having a sit on my front porch enjoying a fancy cup of pudding with crushed cookies……and a tall glass of
