Football practice is in full swing around here. Prior to my husband being named the coach of my son’s team I spoke about being a hypocrite and making my son play football this year. So far he is really shining and is proving my theory right. His dad has been working with him non stop and it is showing. He actually looks forward to going to practice. I’m so proud of him. I told y’all I knew what I was talking about….this time. Ayyyyeeee. Peep … read more

I mentioned earlier in the week house hunting basically consumed my time for the past few weeks and while I was staring with glazed eyes at what seemed like every house on the market in the Atlanta area, I kind of let my children do … read more
So I don’t need to tell you it’s been crazy around here to say the least. I’ve been tagged a few times in this challenge and I can’t remember exactly who tagged me so I won’t name them in the event I leave someone out. Charge it to my heart and not my crazy summer brain. A. Attached or Single - Attached. Oh so attached to the most amazing corporate thug ever.
This week: We went to Wind Down Wednesday an outdoor concert series held weekly during the summer in downtown Atlanta
History often repeats itself. Sometimes repetition is good, sometimes its bad and sometimes it gives us comfort. Our trip to the strawberry patch last week was for comfort. I did good with Mother’s Day this year and I think part of it was due to the fact that it was also my daughter’s 3rd birthday. Coming to a place where I can embrace the circle of life as well as being at a happy place in my life made memories sufficient this year. One of … read more
With warm weather on the horizon its time to get outdoors and I am always looking for family friendly things to do. Tanger Outlet in Locust Grove is having a great family oriented event the weekend of March 29 and tons of other fun events lined up for the month of April. For my Atlanta people mark your calendars. The food trucks from the Atlanta Food Truck Park will be making an appearance and I just may be giving away some truck bucks so stay … read more
Y’all know I don’t ask much from you, so when I do I hope you get how sincere my request is. Earlier this week I took a few photos of my neighbors. These photos were used for a submission to win a dream wedding on behalf of our local Fox channel. Operation Wedding will grant one military family the dream wedding of a lifetime but they need votes. Ancil has been deployed twice and is currently still away from his family working since coming off … read more
