My Babies are Growing Up

November 7, 2013

Tuesday my babies were out of school for Election Day. This fall has been extremely busy so I figured that would be the best day to get them out and take their fall photos. As I edited some of them this evening a wave of sadness came over me. My babies are growing up.

You know what that crazy think is? I was expecting to see the old pictures for the first time. I remember those. Time really does fly. I love the hug. Unfortunately I wasn’t like that with my brother.

Girl bye. I won’t tell you how many shots I had to take to get that one. They stay fighting, and the weird thing is its her that starts all of the drama.

Time is going way too fast! I just want it to slow down just a little bit so I can enjoy a few more precious hugs!!

Aww! They are so precious! I remember when my oldest two were this age. Looking at these pictures make me want to cry, too. They don’t stay small for very long so we have to treasure these precious moments while we can! :D

Don’t cry you will cause me to cry and I sound hideous when I cry. They grow up so fast and I think it doesn’t bother me too much because I was able to see them grow first hand and it’s truly a blessing to be able to do that.

I still see their baby faces so you can hold on still! LOL! I always search for Nia’s baby face in her “big kid” face too. Makes me think of how my parents can probably see my baby face as well.

They do still have a little baby in their faces. She still has baby hands and toes. I’ll take what I can get!

They are really growing fast. Your son is a real little man, especially with that pose.

    So adorable!

I think I have these thoughts more often than I should. It’s interesting because the memories when they depended on you for EVERYTHING are so vivid like it happened yesterday. I completely understand how you’re feeling–it’s amazing to see them grow into their own person but it’s also a little sad to see them develop so quickly.
