Last week was trying to say the least. All of the drama with the house left me mentally fried and I was more than ready for the weekend. I treated myself and got my “hurrr did” to kick off the weekend…cause if you would’ve seen what it looked like before I sat in her chair….if only I had a picture
Anywho.
Saturday I headed to Macy’s to ogle check out Marcus Samuelsson as he gave a cooking demonstration with Macy’s Culinary Council. I’ll do a detailed post later in the week.
My son tagged along, and after we left Macy’s we headed to one of my friend’s house for her son’s birthday party.
Here we are at the birthday party exactly 4 years earlier. We were missing Erika on Saturday but Niya is in her place. At the time we took the original photo Niya was living in Dallas.
So thankful for these friendships.
After the party was over we headed home and then the Mr. suggested family night so I barely had time to catch my breath and we were back out the door. Since the tripod was already up we snapped this impromptu family selfie before heading out.
We had a great time bowling. In the end the Mr. and I ended up winning one game a piece.
Sunday, I cleaned and got the house ready yet again to go on the market….and then I counted down the minutes until #BeyonceBowl.

I am going to get my hurr did for Valentines weekend lol. Love the curls and family night is always a good thing. Those kids sure multiplied I say in 5 more years you all will be taking a bigger group pose.

My weekend was spent at work but I enjoyed the IG and twitter updates during the Beyonce Bowl! I love the old and current picture. True fellowship with genuine friends are priceless!

Love your weekend wrap up. Let me start by saying Beyonce’ was on fire and Kelly was fierce. I love Michelle but she didn’t bring it enough. Super Bowl night was for the ladies and it felt good to be an African American woman that night, actually it always feels good. From Alicia, J. Hud to Beyonce and Destiny’s Child it was an awesome Super Bowl for me. My team wasn’t playing but I was happy to see the Ravens win.
Love the two pictures of the birthday party (4 years later). Those are the friendships you cherish. Family bowling night is always fun in my book. And it looks like you guys had fun. And last but not least I have to say I love getting my hair done. It always makes me feel good. Your hair looks great.
