I have an unhealthy obsession with cardigans. They are the perfect layering piece to turn a drab outfit into a fab ensemble.
A plain T shirt and a pair of jeans gain new life with the addition of a cardigan, and some jewelry. Cardigans offer flexibility and an endless range of design options for people who may be a little style challenged. We all have accessories and shoes. That’s all it really takes to pull off a polished look with a cardigan.
Don’t be fooled by how plain they look on the hanger. The possibilities are endless with just a T-shirt, jeans and a cardigan. Have fun, punch it up with a touch of color or keep it classic with a solid color and accessorize. The other killer thing about cardigans is they are easily found in low cost retailers such as TJ Maxx and Target. I have had a ton of luck finding them at the Goodwill and other thrift and consignment stores. Next week we’ll talk about how to kind those killer deals at the thrift store!

I love cardigans too. You’re right a plain tee shirt and jeans can go from drab to fab with a cardigan, accessories and heels. It’s my go to outfit when I feel I have nothing to wear or just want to be casual.

A cardigan is definitely a must have piece in my closet. I’m going to have to hit up the local goodwill and find me a few cardigans. I never have any luck.

Besids being the queen of pearls, I’m also the queen of cardigans. I think I was the only known 9th grader who produly wore cardigan sets, LOL! I love cardigans, and I have them in just about every color and style. They can be dressed up or down, and it’s a classic look.
